Seasonal variation in success of softwood grafting of tamarind (Tamarindus indica L.).

The results of an experiment conducted in March-June 1997 revealed that the date of grafting significantly influenced days taken to sprout, percentage bud break, percentage bud survival and percentage graft success. March and April were the better months for grafting under Akola conditions
